Space dog

I drew this for an adoption (more like competition) on a forum I visit. If you've visited my site, you'd know that I was "into" a game called petz...

more like obsessed with it, but so are a couple thundred other people. Anyway, on this forum Harli posted a litter of Great danes with spots that looked like stars. I was so taken with them that I decided to spend 6 hours working on this complex little bugger of a picture. But then my site's hostess, Riley applied for the dog I was applying for (he was a lovely thing with blue eyes, I loved him). So now I was guilty, not only was she my hostess period. But the picture file was too large for photobucket, so if I wanted to post it, I'd have to upload it onto her webspace. That just seemed... cruelly ironic. So after awhile of fighting with myself over it, I decided to withdraw my application. I know it wasn't nessesarily fair, none of the others had spent six hours working on something for their dogs. But it was the kindest thing to do. Riley had written a very long application and seemed to want him alot... more than I did I guess. She didn't get the dog though, Bella did, she got a custom one, alot of people did o.o; I missed that XD.

Oh well, atleast I got this picture. I'd been in a rut and had been drawing nothing (besides that creepy lady picture). And I got alot of enjoyment from drawing him (taurus was his name). I still have that picture I printed out of him around somewhere (I carried it with me while I drew just incase I started going way off track. I kinda still did, that dog really looks nothing like a dane.
